11:30 Kickboxing with Lisa will be cancelled today.  Staff office hours will also be cancelled for the day.

The JFK Federal Bldg is OPEN today, Friday, March 8. Hence, the JFK Federal Fitness Center is OPEN as well.  However, due to the snow/inclement weather, 20-20 class and staff office hours will be cancelled today.

While shoveling snow is a great form of exercise, please use proper and safe technique.

RETURN OF ZUMBA: Zumba class will be held Tuesday & Thursday week of March 4, 2-13

GUEST PASS PROGRAM:
We know it can be difficult to motivate yourself to come into the gym and workout. Research indicates that people are more motivated to workout when they have a friendly face to encourage them, social support to break them away from the office while maybe even providing some fun (Jocularity!)  The JFKFFC is initiating a new program that will allow you to bring/invite your friend or co-worker with you while introducing him/her to our/your facility. DEA MALTZ CHALLENGE: The JFKFFC is proud to sponsor the DEA Maltz Challenge.  This nationside Crossfit-like Memorial (Soldiers Killed-In-action) fitness event will take place 10:00am Friday, March 22 (possibly also on the 21st pending registration participation numbers). Compete in the Full or Half Maltz. The full Maltz consists of: 400 meter run (treadmill), 50 pull-ups, 200 meter Farmer’s walk (50 lb. Dumbbell for men, 25 lb. Dumbbell for women), 50 dips, 100 pushups, 50 knees-to-elbows, 100
sit-ups, feet anchored, 400 meter run (treadmill). Participants may register on the Maltz Challenge website as well as with the JFKFFC staff.
