Attention Women Members: The JFKFFC Board and Management have received complaints regarding the practice of “reserving” shower and bench space in the Women’s Locker Room.  While the practice may save you time upon completion of your workout it is an impediment to the overwhelming majority of members who like yourselves are under time constraints.  There is limited bench/sitting space as well as showers – particularly during lunch hours.  Please refrain from these selfish unacceptable practices.  Place your items in a locker/leave in your gym bag while you are working out.  Thank your for your cooperation in this matter!

Germ Hygiene: While the flu season is upon us now please follow these good hygiene practices all year-long:
1.    Wipe down fitness equipment after you utilize it.  Throw your used paper towels in the trash – do not leave them on the floor.
2.    Wash hands often and thoroughly.  Use hand sanitizers as well.
3.    Do not spit into water fountains or waste baskets. If necessary, use the toilet and flush immediately. Then wash hands.
4.    Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing. If you are sick please consider going home and not spreading germs and infecting others.
5.    Exercise restraint when sick: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=51085

Group Exercise Class Substitutions:
